Cucu Ruth's health has greatly improved. She is now walking on her own with a cane. She has also actively visited some of the widows to check up on them.

Background
Ruth’s children died of HIV/AIDS leaving her to care for four grandchildren in her old age. She sold all of her domestic animals she was rearing and used the money on food to sustain her family. (Cucu is a Kikuyu term of affection that means “grandmother” and is pronounced like “show show”.) CuCu, the oldest of the h.o.w? widows and one the funniest, too, was hospitalized earlier this year, and we are glad to hear she is improving.
