We spent our final day with the widows. Many widows testified about God’s work in their lives.
When we finally made it to the widows, we were of course greeted with hugs, handshakes, and lots and lots of singing.
A series of unfortunate events? Not really!
We all had an amazing weekend and a much-needed rest period before we travel to Naivasha and visit the widows tomorrow morning.
The team participants, who came from Indiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Missouri, have bonded and share a mutual love for Kenya and her people.
Today was full of laughter, bumpy roads, snack stops, majestic African animals, and delightful people.
You can truly feel God’s peace and love that radiates from that place. It is so evident that the Lord is the center of their work.
This team has rocked preschool at Children’s Garden this week … Preschool teachers have a special place in heaven.
We are so very tired but so very grateful for everything we were given today. Tomorrow we do our best to listen and respond as we are being called.
